Rett's Syndrome is a regressive neurodevelopmental disorder. Children usually develop normally until an early age before beginning to show symptoms. Which include loss of function in the hands and feet and eventually develops into a condition known as Apraxia, which is a total loss of motor function. This even effects eyesight and speech. At an early age the disorder is commonly confused with Autism because of early symptoms including repetitive hand movements.
